Do you create websites, videos, or digital documents such as PDFs or Word? Have you ever wondered what it's like to access these materials if you're unable to see, hear, or use a mouse?

Join Terrill Thompson and Hadi Rangin, Information Technology Accessibility Specialists UW, on October 22 from 12:00 p.m. - 12:50 p.m. in the HUB room 334 to explore human diversity by examining the wide variety of human characteristics that affect how individuals interact with everyday technologies. In this seminar consider and demo some examples of common accessibility issues in action that will that help us to appreciate the challenges that some groups of people face. We will also learn some simple techniques for creating websites, videos, and digital documents that are accessible to everyone. Terrill Thompson and Hadi Rangin are technology accessibility specialists with UW-IT Accessible Technology Services and are globally renown leaders in the accessibility field.
