Presenter: Eyal Ginio, Professor, Department of Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies, Hebrew University of Jerusalem; and Director, Ben-Zvi Institute for the Study of Jewish Communities in the East, Jerusalem

This presentation will discuss the significance and the inclusion of non-Turkish speaking populations in the current discussions on the late Ottoman period, with a focus on Ladino-speaking Ottoman Jews.
