Develop Your Bias for Action, hosted by Connie Bourassa-Shaw, Executive Director of Foster’s MS in Entrepreneurship program.

Join us for an evening of inspiration and hear from a panel of accomplished entrepreneurs (including Foster alumna Milkana Brace) who used bias for action to cultivate success. They’ll share tips and strategies to help you develop your bias for action now.

Panel moderator: Connie Bourassa-Shaw, a much loved and respected member of the entrepreneurship community. After 20 years of passionately helping student entrepreneurs and directing the Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship at UW’s Foster School of Business, she now focuses on her latest startup – Foster’s brand new MS in Entrepreneurship program.
Panelists:

  • Milkana Brace, Founder and CEO, Jargon Milkana founded Jargon.com, an elegant and easy-to-use translation and learning solutions that combines the best of technology and human assistance. She has a Foster MBA and is an alumna of Foster’s Technology Management MBA program.
  • Alexander Long, Founder and Master Chocolatier, Seleuss  Seleuss is a new line of haute chocolate truffles by Master Chocolatier Alexander Long. For the past 10 years, Long has followed time-honored French techniques and a philosophy of incorporating the finest ingredients from around the world.
  • Jody Elsom, Founder of Elsom Cellars  Jody has a passion for developing wines that best represent the possibilities for Washington wines. Jody’s passion for wine began in Napa Valley and further explored through numerous experiences in the vineyards and wineries throughout Italy and France.
