Description

Do you want to build your own Internet of Things applications around your home but don't know where to start? Maybe you're happy with the system you have but want to learn how to improve it. Join us for an overview of what you can build today to automate and improve your home.

The 2-hour workshop starts at 6.00p. We will start with a demo showing how an ESP8266 home automation hub works, introduce the software and hardware you'll need and discuss design considerations. By the end of the workshop you will be able to identify appropriate technologies for the design goals you set.

Please arrive by 5:50p for a quick safety briefing and sign-in process.  This workshop has a $5.00 fee.
