Description

This class will provide an overview of the care, cultivation and feeding of cactus and succulent plants. Through live plants, handouts, a slide show, and demonstration instructor Karen Summers of the Cascade Cactus and Succulent Society will provide visual information on constructing a dish garden including plant choice, design, theme and care.

Cost: Free, with a suggested $5 donation at the door.

Instructor Karen Summers has been collecting cactus and succulents for over 40 years. She is fascinated by plants of all kinds and is an avid organic vegetable and flower gardener. She has been a member of the Cascade Cactus and Succulent Society of Washington State since 1991 and has served as Program Chair for 11 years as well as plant sale chair for 7 years. She enjoys presenting to groups on the care and cultivation of indoor and outdoor succulent plants.
