The UW STARTALK program invites you to join language teaching colleagues from the University of Washington and around the state for our third UW STARTALK-sponsored symposium on working with heritage language learners. This year we are again pleased to feature Dr. Maria Carreira, a national expert on heritage language teaching and learning from the California State University, Long Beach. The focus this year will be on Project-Based Learning in the context of working with Heritage Language Learners (and Dual Language Immersion Learners).
