CoMotion Labs presents, “Marketing your Startup” with Steven Gottlieb

Steven Gottlieb is the Founder and President of Gottlieb Group Communications. The firm’s focus is to collaborate with institutions, organizations, companies and individuals seeking to solve, explain, and rally support in and around complex issues.

Complexity is, naturally, best understood when it is simplified. Gottlieb Group Communications works with its client partners to untangle complicated initiatives and opportunities by developing clear opinion and insight driven content. Perspective-based communications plays an instrumental role in the creation and cementing of reputation and credibility. Reputation and credibility are inextricably linked and together impact trust and confidence in relationships, institutions, companies and products. And complex issues require thoughtful and credible insight and explanation.

Over the course of his career, Steven Gottlieb has worked with a broad and diverse set of organizations from Fortune 100 companies to founders of emerging technologies companies; scientists working in the fields of materials science, energy storage, and vaccines; financiers of innovation and real estate; top administrators of health care systems and university presidents; artists and athletes; elected officials and government institutions; and global aid and health professionals.

Each Fundamentals for Startups session will have a topic and an area expert providing key insights and knowledge regarding the topic in a 40 minute seminar format followed by a Q&A session. All seminars will be video captured and live streamed. Light refreshments will be served. These sessions are open to the public and you do not have to be currently affiliated with UW or a startup to join.

At 1:00 pm, after the main presentation, CoMotion Labs and the UW Entrepreneurial Law Clinic present, “What is IP?” with Dan Goodman & Max Faucette.

The Entrepreneurial Law Clinic (ELC) is an innovative clinic serving entrepreneurs throughout the Pacific Northwest. The ELC teams law and business students with pro bono attorneys and business advisors. Together they provide critical early stage legal and business counseling to technology entrepreneurs, small business owners, social entrepreneurs, nonprofits and University of Washington and Institute for Translational Health Sciences faculty researchers. By providing such counseling, the ELC has become one of the cornerstones of the innovation ecosystem in the Pacific Northwest.

We hope to see you there!
