From Collective Learning to Collective Action: New Conceptual Directions and Preliminary Data
In discussing his plans for future research, Dr. Shteynberg will focus on how collective learning, mutual knowledge, adaptive shared goals, and dynamic social roles interact to enable successful collective action. This involves understanding the motivated pursuit of shared attention, shifting interpretations under shared attention, as well as social identification and dis-identification under shared attention. Furthermore, he will discuss the potential role of the above psychological capacities in understanding autism.
