On this date, Martina Welkhoff will be presenting "Pitching 101."

Martina is a serial entrepreneur who launched her latest venture, ConveneVR, in early 2017. Martina has worked in a variety of startup environments, from helping to debut a new media company to developing a new program within a national nonprofit. Most recently, she was the CEO and cofounder of Zealyst, a mobile gaming app that strategically connected employees, which was acquired by the University of Washington. Prior to founding Zealyst, Martina launched a community leadership initiative for the Major League Baseball Players Trust. Since early 2009, Martina has been studying and practicing mediation and facilitation for businesses and community organizations. Martina is the Board President of Seattle Women in Tech, a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, and a board member of Seattle Angel.

Format of the Startup Sessions:
The startup sessions will have a topic and an area expert providing key insights and knowledge regarding the topic in a 20-30 minute seminar format. After the main seminar, the UW School of Law's Entrepreneurial Law Clinic will present "Equity Allocation."  Afterwards, the attendees will break into working sessions to engage with the topic as it relates to them.

All seminars will be video captured and live streamed. Light refreshments will be served. These sessions are open to the public and you do not have to be currently affiliated with UW or a startup to join.

We hope to see you there!…
