Description

Dr. Rhonda Kaetzel is a board certified toxicologist and serves as the Regional Director at the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) for Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.  ATSDR, part of U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is co-located with the National Center of Environmental Health of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  She has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of toxicology, biochemistry, human health risk assessment, biomonitoring, and exposure science.   Prior to joining ATSDR, Dr. Kaetzel served as a toxicologist for local health (Public Health – Seattle and King County) and state health (Washington State Department of Health) working to protect the public and tribal members from exposures to environmental toxins.
