On this date, Lisa Fernow will present "How to Create your Startups' Value Proposition."

Lisa Fernow brings 30+ years experience as a global marketer, strategist, and consumer insights professional.  At PepsiCo and Time Warner she oversaw development and launch of a host of successful new products and accelerated growth for iconic brands 7Up, Diet Pepsi and Scooby Doo in over 150 countries.  Lisa founded Fernow Consulting in 2000 to help entrepreneurs innovate and better capitalize on growth opportunities.  Clients range from early stage startups to Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries, including one engagement with Nordstrom that led to her going in-house for two years to help them launch their first Consumer Insights group.

At the University of Washington she has served on the Executive Education Advisory Board for the Foster School of Business, guest lectured on innovation, consulted to two Executives in Residence, judged numerous business plan competitions, and served as a CoMotion speaker and mentor.

Our Startup Fundamentals series aims to  provide our CoMotion Labs Community and ELC Community with FREE access to leading experts that can close the GAP in startup knowledge. These startup sessions will give startups, teams, students and community a chance to learn practical knowledge, as well as provide hands-on training, and networking opportunities with professionals in various branches of business.

Format of the Startup Sessions:
The startup sessions will have a topic and an area expert providing key insights and knowledge regarding the topic in a 20-30 minute seminar format. After the seminar, the attendees will break into working sessions to engage with the topic as it relates to them.
