Description

In this 3 day workshop, participants will learn to work effectively with children with autism spectrum disorders using evidence-based strategies from principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Opportunities for hands-on practice and coaching/feedback will be offered. Space is limited!

Participants will learn:
•How the characteristics of ASD impact learning
•What is ABA
•How to teach children with ASD using fundamental behavioral strategies
•The components of a teaching loop
•How to collect and analyze data
•Strategies for promoting communication,
•Strategies for implementing DTT,
•Strategies for implementing naturalistic ABA approaches
•About resources available for those working with children with ASD
