Love botanical gardens? Love smart phone photography? Join us in the garden where will review brief smartphone photography specs. Participants will be guided to capture close-up, macro details, interesting angles of flowers, trees, leaves and related that are abstract, close-up and interesting. This will give the participants a rich experience of the details that are normally missed with a wide shot. After shooting photographs, participants will gather to share and discuss their photographs. Experience using a smartphone with 12+ megapixels is recommended.

Instructor Vicki Basta has been an artist for over 20 years. She loves collecting and photographing botanicals, bark, branches, stones, papers and rusted items to create mixed media art, earth art and collage/botanical and jewelry.
