Brief History of Asia Today: A Journalist’s Story through Tears and Laughter (辦報甘苦談: 《華聲報》的興衰)

For this Community Forum, we welcome Mr. John Chou, an active interviewer in the UW East Asia Library's History through Memories and Stories oral history project.  Since 2000, he has headed Asia Today (華聲報), a weekly Chinese/English newspaper serving Chinese communities in the Pacific Northwest.  In his talk, Mr. Chou will discuss the paper's history and his own experiences.

Community forums are free and open to the public.  They are conducted in Mandarin Chinese and/or English.
