Description

Join the Friends of the University of Washington Libraries to support Libraries student employee scholarships at the 12th annual Literary Voices.  Guests will meet and dine with 29 notable Pacific Northwest authors in the North Ballroom of the Husky Union Building (HUB).

Keynote address:

Award-winning author Annie Proulx has written eight books, including the novel The Shipping News and the story collection Close Range. Her many honors include a Pulitzer Prize, a National Book Award, the Irish Times International Fiction Prize, and a PEN/Faulkner Award. Her story “Brokeback Mountain,” which originally appeared in The New Yorker, was made into an Academy Award-winning film. Her most recent novel is Barkskins.

Tickets: $150 per person or $1,500 per table
