Dr. Alice Hunsberger speaks on the beloved 12th-century Persian poet Nasir Khusraw, who travelled extensively in Central Asia and the Middle East. . Nasir Khusraw was a major philosopher and intriguing individual, celebrated for his literary genius and bold travels. After a thousand years, his words can still transform individuals and communities. Dr. Hunsberger is the leading authority on Nasir Khusraw, and holds a Ph.D. from Columbia University. Before the Iranian revolution, she taught in Isfahan. She now lives in New York City, teaching at SUNY and lecturing on Islam at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
