Join leading scholars and Native American/First Nations artists as they present and discuss current trends and recent research on the distinctive art traditions of our region. They will examine the last 50 years of Northwest Coast art, as marked by the 50th anniversary volume of Bill Holm’s influential book, Northwest Coast Indian Art: An Analysis of Form, and look forward to the next fifty years in an art form and cultures that are thriving and innovative. These talks are the second day in a two-day symposium. Event is free, but registration is required. More details and event registration at link below. |
