While retirement is an occasion to be celebrated, it often raises questions about meaning and purpose. Join the UWRA for our workshop, Non-Financial Retirement Planning: Who Will I Be Without My Job? to learn how to create a compelling, positive vision for your retirement and personal future. Through reflective exercises and group discussions you will explore themes, roles and values that can energize your post-employment years. This workshop is not about financial planning; it is about reinventing a life worth living. This workshop will be most valuable to individuals or couples approaching retirement or that are newly retired, but anyone at any stage of life with an interest in non-financial retirement planning is welcome to attend. It will be led by Nancy Wick, recently retired from UW News and Information, and Maurice Warner, retired Associate Director of the UW Counseling Center. Together they have been exploring the timely issues surrounding the personal transition to retirement. Where: Odegaard Undergraduate Library, Room 220 When: Wednesday, Oct. 22; 5 p.m.–6:30 p.m. Cost: $15 for first member of household, $10 for second Light refreshments will be available. Questions?
