Description | Althea Brandis, MA, LMHC, pictured above, presents How to Work Well With Conflict. This training will provide an opportunity for the participants to see actual confrontation and conflict through film and role play. Content of this seminar will include: - A description of conflict and confrontation and why fear or anxiety accompanies them.
- Discussing personal feelings regarding conflict and constructive ways to address them.
- Skill-building in the areas of communicating differences without fear or defensiveness.
- Observing different assertive techniques showing confrontation in productive, professional methods.
- An opportunity for participants to ask or comment on different experiences that may block individuals from viewing conflict as a productive tool for change.
