“The Living Breath of Wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ: Indigenous Ways of Knowing Cultural Food Practices and Ecological Knowledge” symposium will bring together a dynamic group of community leaders, elders, academics and students to share their knowledge, expertise and enthusiasm. Panels and break-out sessions on tribal food sovereignty initiatives, food justice and security, traditional foods and health, indigenous foods systems and global climate change, and treaty water and fishing rights.
