Description | 4 Part Course - Thursday Evenings (10/30, 11/6, 11/13, and 11/20) This course will stress identification, biology, and how to live with insects and arthropods common to the garden, yard, and the larger world. It will take a look at the major orders, how to recognize them, non-toxic means of control, the importance of natural enemies and pollinators, insects of compost, and other topics. Each session will include a hands-on period with practical demonstrations, specimens to examine, and reference resources.
