Description | This autumn, the UW campus becomes Seattle’s most expansive art gallery. From September 13 - October 25, 2014, local arts organization MadArt, in association with ArtsUW, will present Mad Campus, an outdoor public art exhibition that spans approximately 2.5 miles and features 12 large-scale, temporary, site-specific works inspired by their locations. These installations by Pacific Northwest artists will be interactive, innovative, and surprising. A two-page PDF with map and a brief description of each piece is available here. Join MadArt and ArtsUW for a Mad Campus Art Walk hosted by Arts Dawgs on September 28, 11am-3pm, starting in Red Square. This is a free, family-friendly way to experience the campus-wide exhibit—meet the artists behind the artwork, take guided tours, enjoy snacks, swag, activities, and more!
