Join us for a Fiddleheads Parent & Child Nature Class this summer, and make connections with the natural world that will last a lifetime. Through science-based exploration and outdoor play preschoolers and their caregivers will experience the UW Botanic Gardens using their senses. Each week of class is based on a different learning theme and features hands-on activities, hiking, games, stories and crafts. Above all, we will explore and let the natural curiosity of the young ones direct our adventures. WHO: Children ages 2-5 and their caregivers. The group maximum is 12 children. WHEN: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday at 10am-12pm WHERE: Washington Park Arboretum on the west side of the Greenhouse, behind the courtyard attached to the Graham Visitor Center (2300 Arboretum Drive E, Seattle, WA 98112) OR Center for Urban Horticulture at the NE corner of the courtyard with the fountain, under the big oak tree (3501 NE 41st St, Seattle WA 98105) COST: $18 for 1 child and 1 adult, additional children $9.
